I’ve spent a lot of time with Novel AI and testing it out. This AI writing tool is supposed to help authors with creative fiction and other content. Novel AI uses advanced language models to generate text from user prompts and preferences.

It has some cool features for writers. The text generator can get you out of writer’s block or spark new ideas. The AI can also help with world building, character development and plot outlining.

Firebase ML Kit is Google’s ambitious platform for bridging the gap between machine learning and mobile application development. It provides easy-to-use APIs to run powerful frameworks such as Vision and Language on-device or using the cloud.

Additionally, with the introduction of on-device language translation and Auto ML Vision Edge this year(late 2019, time of writing), Google’s plans to boost machine learning-powered mobile application development so far seems to be on the right track.

While we all love generative AI, there are certain ethical concerns around it. Some people argue that since it’s trained on human images without compensating the creators, it is somewhat like stealing other people’s work. If you support this argument, you’ll be happy to learn about Adobe Firefly, an ethical image generator.
